What is inhand?
inhand, by Hire Space, is AI-native venue management software for UK event venues. It drafts a reply to every enquiry in your own Gmail or Outlook thread and keeps your diary, holds, proposals, payments and calls in one place.
Who is inhand for?
UK event venues: independent event spaces, restaurants and bars with private dining, historic and heritage venues, conference centres, hotel meetings and events teams, venue groups and caterers, universities and wedding venues.
How does it work with Gmail or Outlook?
You sign in with Google or Microsoft in one click, shared mailboxes included. inhand then puts a ready draft in your own Gmail or Outlook thread for every enquiry, and mirrors your diary to Google or Outlook calendars.
Does inhand send emails on its own?
The free drafter never sends. Paid agents send only within the mode you choose. The modes are Supervised, Auto and YOLO.
How much does it cost?
Drafting and the system are free. Agents are a paid upgrade, licensed per venue. No commission on your own leads.
What always goes to a person?
Complaints and disputes, money back, changes to a confirmed booking, fraud and security, and legal duties always go to a person, in every mode.
Will the AI make up rates?
No. Rates come only from records you accepted. Where a fact is missing, inhand writes a placeholder such as [confirm AV cost] instead of guessing.
Do clients see inhand?
No. Clients only ever see your venue’s name. On the phone, the AI receptionist says in its first sentence that it is an AI assistant and that the call is recorded.
Does Hire Space see my email?
Hire Space never receives your email, messages or calls. Hire Space takes commission only on bookings it sends you.
Our diary is in a spreadsheet. Can we bring it?
Yes. Import it from Google Sheets or Excel, and inhand maps your colour legend, such as “yellow = provisional”, onto first, second and third options.
